Natural dyed Dabu sarees - Malhar - Kashish

One of the oldest colors in the Indian subcontinent, the story of natural dyes dates back over 5,000 years. Our entire collection is created on handloom silk cotton, using various natural dyes inspired by the monsoon colors, including:

  • Natural Indigo
  • Harada (myrobolan) for a pale yellow
  • Iron fillings & Gud (jaggery) for black
  • Alum for red
  • Kesula flowers and Babool gum for different shades of green

Your Kaisori Dabu sarees are a celebration of traditional printing techniques, particularly the mud resist method. Choose from a range of Dabu hand-printed sarees, dyed with superior quality, natural vegetable dyes sourced from the Northwest frontiers of Rajasthan.

Variation and irregularities in the fabric are part of the hand-weaving process, contributing to the unique beauty and charm of the handmade fabric.
