Evergreen kota cotton embroidery dKota saree - Bagh - Nishika

We love stories, and we love narrating them too.

Exactly one year ago, we launched an initiative to support artisan families from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh during the lockdown. Together, we created a new design language using traditional weaving, block printing, and embroidery techniques. It has taken us a year to bring these stories together, and we are excited to present a collection we lovingly call Bagh.

Celebrate the festive season with craft stories from Kaisori.

Our Kota range is one of a kind. Like the summer breeze on an ethereal lake, it is woven by the karigars of Kaithoon, interlaced with embroidery from the Kota cluster and hand-block prints from Indore on the borders and body, creating a chic new drape story.

Variation and irregularities in the fabric are part of the hand-weaving process and enhance the beauty and charm of the handmade fabric.

Fabric: Handwoven Kota Doria (silk cotton) with hand embroidery and hand-block prints from Indore and Madhya Pradesh.

Size: Standard 6-meter length with no blouse piece.

Care Instructions:

  • Dry cleaning only.
  • Do not soak in water.
  • Gentle ironing.

N.B.: This is a hand-embroidered saree. Please expect some variations in thread colors in the saree embroidery.
